- Mark, Amorak, and Joe A kicked off the weekend by watching the Braves-Dodgers game at Turner Field. The Dodgers won 3-1. The Braves fan behind us hit Mark and Amorak with her foam tomahawk. The very soft-speaking elderly woman in front of us told us a story about her granddaughter being bullied, but we couldn't hear most of it.
- Scott drove to Joe R's house and they were the first ones to the cabin.
- Christopher arrived Wednesday evening during the poker game.
- It rained on Thursday and we didn't go anywhere.
- Friday evening, we dined at the same Taccoa riverside restaurant (I forget the name) where we dined on our previous River Ridge GW.
- Games we played included: RoboRally, Airlines, Pandemic, Heroes of the Multiverse, Hive, Zombie Fluxx, and obviously poker.
- We got very silly late Friday night and played Idiot Poker.
- We watched part of the 2014 Iron Bowl on the SEC Network replay. Mark was very kind not to gloat too much.
- Saturday evening, Joe R and Scott grilled burgers in the rain.
This was not the most activity-filled GW, but it was nonetheless extremely enjoyable. Relaxing, game-packed, lots of hang out and catch up time. Lots of poker, too.
